The flats and interiors of The Weissenhof Estate, a housing estate built for exhibition “Die Wohnung” in Stuttgart in 1927. The German architect Mies van der Rohe was in charge of the project and the participants were, for example, Le Corbusier and Bruno Taut. 128 black and white photographs of the interiors of the houses, including furniture. Nine essays on modern architecture (Le Corbusier, Josef Frank, Mart Stam, Adolf Schneck, Marcel Breuer, Willy Baumeister, Richard Lisker, Erna Meyer, W. H. Gispen). The binding is very dirty, the end papers, the blank leaf, the half-title, title and some leaves with yellowish spots. There is an owner´s stamp on the blank leaf and this leaf is also c. 1 cm torn. 30 x 21.5 cm, 164 pp.
